We wanted to spotlight our wonderful interventionists at Fleeta. They are quite the champions behind so many student successes! They have celebrated the tiny wins and helped our students grow this year.
Thank you for your dedication and the difference you made every single day.

Our Pre-K class has been learning about weather. Today, they learned about rainbows and made one of their own!

Important!
It is important that you download the CCS app if you have not done so already.
Beginning April 2, Rooms will become the go-to place for classroom updates, one-on-one conversations, and group messages. This allows us to give you one secure place to stay informed and connected to Covington County Schools. It will be the ONLY online communication platform used next year as all classes will use Rooms instead of Remind, Dojo, Group Me, or other platforms.
This is a better way to stay connected:
one place for all school communication
text notifications even if you haven't downloaded the app
easy access to message school

"Can't tell her nothing now!"
Mashell's favorite book has been Monkey, I Spy for years. At one point I had to convince her at each library visit to check out something else. But at the end of every nine weeks, "Mrs. Wilson, can I get it?" and I knew exactly what she was talking about. Disappointment would fill her face if it was checked out.
Last week, this book, her favorite, which I intentionally bought two additional copies of, was returned with so much water damage that I could no longer allow it to circulate. But it worked out to Mashell's advantage for sure. Because I had to discard it, I knew where it needed to go- Mashell's hands.
While this situation certainly helped me make Mashell's day, please take care of library books.

Congratulations to students who made their third nine weeks AR goal! We are proud of you!
