Attention 8th Graders. This is a good volunteer opportunity for a great cause.

Kindergarten has loved gobbling and moving turkeys to blend and read words. They also are making sure the turkeys stay in the pen by reading their sight words correctly. Learning to read in kindergarten is a lot of fun!

Friday is Library Day for First Grade

We can't wait to see you for some great family fun on Friday night!

A couple of weeks ago our internet went out and I didn't have a great Plan B at that moment. A kind seventh grader, Loriellah, suggested we take the time to make cards for Axl and Corbyn. So we did that and brainstormed some care package items. I mailed it Monday afternoon and it should arrive today. We love the Hartzog boys and are keeping them in our prayers daily. Hopefully our box will bring some smiles.

Bus riders will be a little later than usual arriving home. Thank you for understanding.

Thursday is Library Day for Third Grade

Wednesday is Library Day for Second Grade.

Reminders for grades 3-5 Field Trip to Fort Toulouse
A letter will come home today.

Wear closed tow shoes and appropriate clothes. (The high in Wetumpka, AL is 75 degrees for Wednesday.) If your child brings money, he/she is responsible for it and holding their other items.

Tuesday is Library Day for Fourth Grade students.

To celebrate American Football Day on Thursday, students can pay $1 and wear their favorite hat to show their favorite football team.

Progress Reports go home on Nov. 13th. Jr. High Parents, please encourage your child to try to get 50% of their AR goal by then and make sure they are reading at home every single night. Remember, independent reading is part of their grade.
