Fleeta Jr. High School

Our seventh-grade students are participating in a Community Service Project benefiting the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable place to stay for families whose children are seriously ill or injured and receiving care at nearby hospitals.

We are asking families to help by collecting soda tabs and sending them to school with your child. Every tab collected helps support this wonderful organization!

To make it even more fun, the homeroom that collects the most soda tabs during the first nine weeks will earn a pizza party! 🍕

You can help us collect even more by placing a container at your workplace, church, or another community location and inviting others to save their soda tabs too.

Together, we can make a difference for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House! ❤️

The Fleeta Falcons made school history on Saturday by competing in our first-ever cross country meet! The team traveled to Andalusia to compete in the Covington County Schools Meet #1 against more than 100 runners from across South Alabama.

Our Falcons took on a challenging 2-mile course in some brutal heat, and they rose to the occasion! 💪🏼 Four of our five runners recorded a PR (personal record), and every member of the team has shaved several minutes off their times since the beginning of summer.

These athletes have worked together all summer long, and their dedication, perseverance, and hard work were evident today. What an incredible way to begin the season and make history for Fleeta! 🦅

We are EXTREMELY proud of this team and all they have accomplished already. We can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds!

Congratulations to Fleeta's First Cross Country Team! The next meet is Saturday, September 12th at 8:00. Events are free to watch and held at the Covington County Track. Hope to see you there cheering on these students.

Information for students logging into Rooms

If you have not signed up for Apptegy, please do. It is our only mode of communication this year. Please let your child's teacher know or give the office a call and leave a message for your child's teacher so that they can help get you added to Rooms. I know this is all new. If your student is new to our school, we have to wait for Powerschool to sync with Apptegy so that we can add you to the room. Hopefully that will be leveled out by the end of the week.

A big shout out to these two! They have worked so hard on the school inside and out this summer. The school grounds look better than they have in a while and the inside smells nice and clean. If you see them around today, say thank you and brag on how nice everything looks.
