Urgent!
Parents/Guardians,
Students who ride Tina Register's bus will need to be car riders today. She is not feeling well; thank you for understanding.
World Read Aloud day is celebrated the first Wednesday in February each year, and today was the day! Our own Reading Specialist, Mrs. Blair, spent time in each classroom in grades K-3 to read a book to students in celebration of this day, and of a strategy that research has shown to contribute to not only emotional wellbeing, but also academic success.

It's School Counselor Week and we sure are thankful for Mrs. Caldwell.

Congratulations to our one of our own, Ace. Ace won the title of Alabama State Champion 6U in wrestling this weekend.

Kindergarten and First Grade completed a community project by selling ribbons for Cancer Freeze. Cancer Freeze is near and dear for many of our staff and especially for our students this year. All of the money raised from selling the ribbons will go directly to Cancer Freeze.
Cancer Freeze is a local organization that sponsors many people each year and helps them financially on their journey battling cancer.
The main Cancer Freeze event is this weekend in Florala, AL. They sell baked goods, have a car show, a race, pancake breakfast, and the list goes on and ALL the money goes to those sponsored.
The event organizers visited our school on Friday and we were able to give them $1000. Isn't that amazing? We did that.
This special event helps one of our own this year, Axl. Please support Cancer Freeze if you can.
