AR is updated in Powerschool based off of the nine weeks, not just progress reports. If your child has a missing assignment, remind them to check with teachers when they return to school. They can check with us during P.E. or class. We are posting missing work on our announcement board. (The document has student names, missing assignment, and class.) After a student has been informed of the missing work, he/she has 5 days (after returning) to make up the work, or it will remain a zero in the gradebook. (Our student handbook states 3 so this is more than enough time.) This may not apply to your child at this time, but make sure you help them follow up at home if they are ever absent. Thank you.

CCS will dismiss at 11:30 tomorrow, Sept. 23 Falcons Nest will not be available for after school care.
A dear friend made a surprise visit and dropped off a book for our library. It is a donation from the Covington County Cattlemen's Association. So of course, I asked if he could read it to us as well, because he uses great sound effects.
Then a challenge of push ups may have occurred. The student completed exactly as many as he said he could and Mr. Dansby joined him. Some days you just have to roll with it.

The Fleeta Falcons Cross Country team competed in the Covington County Schools Meet #3 in Andalusia, and they had an absolutely PHENOMENAL day! 🎉
🔥 ALL FOUR competing runners hit ANOTHER PR (Personal Record)!
🏅 ALL FOUR finished in the TOP 20!
⭐ Mason P. earned a Top 10 finish, coming in at an impressive #6!
🥈 And in a HISTORIC FIRST for Fleeta School, Jerry B. finished 2nd, earning the first XC medal in Fleeta School history! 🏅👏
We are incredibly proud of the way these Falcons continue to compete, improve, and push themselves at every meet. They are getting faster with every race, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish next!
